A good day to begin blogging this year. We hope to be more up to date and frequent this time around. I thought the galaxy tab would make blogging simpler, but some how time and mood seem to be the real constraints. I am presently writing this blog on the way to office using a swype key pad. But Mangalore roads that they are and our police drivers together are making it a roller coaster experience. So forgive me for any typo. Will continue later... reaching office...

... Its been a busy sankranthi day. After a long meeting at the pilikula sanctuary, had to complete some presentations for the forthcoming annual conference at Bangalore. It was nice to note in the presentation that 2010 was an exceptionally good year here after a terrible 2009. While 2009 was spent firefighting, 2010 was spent more in constructive work. Our firefighting effort of last year was duly recognized by adjudging the district at the state level, as best in maintaining law and order, this year we are sending nominations for the more constructive work taken up. So its wait and watch. If I can try to round up the events of 2010 with two important events then one would be the trip to Australia and the other would be the formation of a Police Commisionerate at Mangalore thereby me losing a part of my jurisdiction during the later half of the year. Will continue with the details in the next post.
